The Black Angels

I kind of, sort of thought that Alex Maas of the Black Angels sounded a bit like Jim Morrison, now I think he is almost imitating him. That being said...i still really like this new record.

Don't have the usual time to put into a review, and there's plenty of good stuff already on MOG about them, but _DAMN_ The Black Angels are good!!! This is the best album I've heard in a long, long time. Amazing talent going on here, from the lyrics to the vocals to the guitar to the arranging, this is real from-the-gut artistry.
