I was MOGging in the sounds of the new album...when this song came up, I nearly fell off my chair. I had to go to iTunes to check if this really is Oasis.

I want to say "you're wrong" because I'm sleepy and feeling contrary. I want to, but I can't. This song is pretty hot stuff. I haven't been this interested in Oasis since "The Hindu Times".

But, Anna, that song is sung by a man. How can a song sung by a man be sexy? That's impossible. It's only songs by women that are sexy. Crazy talk.  

Okay...in all honesty, I've been listening to the album all morning and didn't notice this song was sexy. However, after reading what you said, I had another listen to it and yes, I see what you're saying. I too have fallen for its throbbing guitars and androgynous falsetto. So much so I now want to have the Noel's babies. Thank you, once again, Lady Music Reviewers Of Mog.

I didn't nessecarily mean the guys, but the vibe of the song, which does include the male voice. I wasn't quite getting the lapdance vibe, maybe I'll try again later.

Well, it doesn't do it for me, but it's a good tune.  It really doesn't sound like Oasis' usual stuff (except the guitar solo) and I like it better this way. Thanks Anna.

Rejean, I had the exact same thought, doesn't sound like Oasis (and it works fo me although as a fan I am perfectly fine with their usual sound) except for the solo. It's good to see that they took the time to take a few steps further.

The CD is getting mixed reviews, but I think it's cool in some circles to bash Oasis.  I've like what I've heard so far too.

I have tickets to the show at George Mason on December 20th -- and am looking forward to it.  Nice to see both Ryan Adam and Oasis.

Definitely NOT oasis, there are hints of Oasis, sniff sniff but my expert trained "oasis" german setter is not wagging his tail like a definite hit.... hmmm I'll keep lookin nad if I get evern a slap of the tail I'll let ya know... OMG the dog is humpin the Laptop, down boy... LOL

It's a varied album, I think. Has classic Oasis and daring Oasis. Makes me feel that they dug a bit deeper when they made it. I'm enjoying it quite much.
